4 XXX Hardcore Porn COMMON SENSE A few tips here that may help you and at very least may keep you out of serious trouble. I realize that a lot of people look at the internet and say to themselves, I am just one of the little guys in the big overall picture of things...they won't NAB me to use as an example! RETHINK It! They very well could! If someone wants to take down some sites fast, who better to take down that the "Little Guy". Are you financially able to fight the government in a right to free speech suit against your porn site? Can you pay the legal fees involved in trying to get out of copyright suits because you used someone elses content? Mr. SuperMegaPorn may be willing to keep it in court and pay the cost just to buy some extra days with the content on their site....or because they DO have a legal right to it and they want it proven in court. YOU, on the other hand, how much did you budget for defense fees from your attorney for this coming year of business??? Having said that...here are some Common Sense rules to read, learn, live! 1. There is NO such thing as PUBLIC DOMAIN in adult content! Don't think that by going to court and saying "You see it EVERYWHERE" is going to make the judge say..."You know, now that you mention it I do see it on every porn site I visit! Case dismissed!" AIN'T GONNA Happen! BUY some content, if you can't afford to do that right now, find Sponsor sites that offer free content for promoting them and use it. Sidenotes here: A. If it's used by a LOT of people, many link lists won't list your site cause they know the surfers have seen it all before. I didn't say it was the GREATEST way to get sites going...but it's LEGAL. B. DON'T Be a SLUG...if you get FREE content from XXXDoMe Sponsor to promote them then PROMOTE them~ Don't take the content and run to shove banners for every other sponsor on the internet around their pictures! 2. DON'T try to screw over the Link List Owners. As many "neat" ways as you can think up today of duping them out of a link back, you can pretty much be assured they knew those tricks before you knew how to turn on the computer. Nothing is NEW and TRICKY...it's just a new way to pull an old scam and it WILL get you banned. Link List owners run "bots" that check for their listing on the page you specified when you submitted. If it's gone, so are you! Some hand check, and the same rule applies...if it's gone so are you! If you are caught at this regularly (They understand server probs, site being down, etc....just not blatant screwing them over on the reciprocals) you will have your domain permanently banned from the link list that catches you (and word SPREADS through list owners). For being a VERY BIG internet, it's a much smaller World of Adult Webmasters, don't create a rep that will ruin you and your chances for success. 3. There isn't a nice way to say this...so I will just be blunt: If you are a sick fuck who gets off on creating sites with Ch*ld pornography or be*stiality you will be reported to the appropriate authorities as soon as it is seen. Adult Webmasters work TOO damn hard at this job to let some selfish sick bastard cause us additional problems because sites like yours are winding up all over the web. 4. Read, Learn, Practice! When you stop trying to find better ways to do things, or learn about laws that are changing, or stagnate period...You are at the beginning of the end. I frequent an adult message board online, and it always impresses me to see an experienced person not only offer help, but make positive statements about something that a newer person may have said. It may not always be something new and profound...it could just be another way of doing something that you've always done only with a twist to it! It's the ideas, the food for thought, the learning by example that keeps you from sinking into a hole of redundancy! FIND a board you like...sit back and read it for a bit...get a feel for the conversations, then introduce yourself and jump in! You may need to search around. Not all boards are created equal (lol), I have been to some that were very EGO driven and as a newbie, at the time, that wasn't what I needed to be around. I am very happy with the board I found...and I learn everyday from someone on it.
